A couple of group work snaps.

I took a mini camera out with us on our first day of filming but the battery life wasn't so great so I only have a couple of shots, but heres a couple of snaps of our group setting up and working as a team to get the filming done and done well :).

Filming difficulties.

This was happening on the first day we filmed, which was so annoying as we were doing purely performance shots and wanted to have the song in the background so we could align the mp3 track with the filmed base track easily, 
We had a really weird morning filming and had to keep stopping and starting but today we started to edit down the first bits of film (which were the ones we filmed on the first day of filming) and they worked really well and looked really good :) The jump cut sequences I planned when I was making the animatic have gone really well thanks to us being efficient whilst filming. We started editing on final cut pro today and drew up an editing schedule, whilst keeping an eye out for shots that we want to add to the final music video as we could do that on Thursday.

Bruised coccyx meant I wasn't in last week

I fell down the stairs last sunday night and happened to fall on my lower back which meant it was bruised and meant I was not in for a week of college because i couldn't walk anywhere. Coming in today means that I can catch up on my blogging and get up to date with all editing and filming needed.

Editing

Today we began editing and this mainly constituted of placing clips on the timeline. We also added markers on  the beat so that syncing to the beat would be easier. We realised whilst editing that we lacked in extreme close ups of singing, so two of our group members filmed singing for the whole song in an extreme close up angle. This was important as a variety of shots are needed to create a music video and extreme close ups being one of the most important.
