Locations

The first part of the song, we will be performing our instruments on a bandstand, where you would typically expect to see a small group of people permforming. Its a good locations because its simplistic but very effective for our bands image. We're going to Southbank, to film near the big fox, which we think would be a good feature in the video. The next photo is at the barbican, close to where we are filming. Its generally a well lit and will provide us with nice scenery. The third photo is at Spitalfieds, near Shoreditch, where several large bunnies for the mise-en-scene in our video. They are relevant to the first part of the song, "walking round a zoo".

Lisa Mitchell.

I think Lisa Mitchell is a wonderful artist to look for inspiration through, her music videos all carry a childlike feel to them through the costumes, props and locations. This video (coin laundry) was filmed in the Barbican! One of our chosen locations.

The use of accessories and small details in the video are essential, they create the folky look and also add colour and more interesting bits to the video.

The rabbits we shall sit on.

The use of the washing machines in an interesting way will be reflected in our own video where we will sit on little white wooden rabbits, which are not designed for this, but will look cool especially with the edits.

 I have considered us doing something such as hiding in the tumble dryer however I remember that the laundrettes were closed especially for this film and they do not allow filming without us paying :( (we don't have the same kind of budget as Lisa Mitchell!)
But we can take his kind of theme, this kind of fun and interesting stuff is what we intend to be replicating in our film however on a fairly low budget.

Camera technique

I have found an interesting camera technique in Tyler, the creator's "Yonkers" video which is to go out of focus and back into focus on the beat. These stills are from the video:

We may not use this effect but i think it to be important to look at a range of potential effects and decide if any would suit our video.

Okaay

Went to check to see if things were still where they were a few weeks ago, although feeling really rough I had a gander down to Spitalfields and had a check for Paul Cox's rabbit installation, luckily this is one the public is encouraged to play with so we won't even be wrecking the art. 
Im sure theres some deep meaning behind them but we are using them as they look awesome :)!

It is all still there awesome as ever I am so pleased! (I don't even want to think about what would be going on stress wise in my mind right now if they'd disappeared) 

& some extra awesomeness which we could use is this weird little like glass case full of Bees just hanging around, we could definitely film some cookie stuff of one or two of us on one side and then shoot it from the other so it would look as though they were covered in bees! Gotta make sure the lightings good for that as it was extra rubbishy and raining when I went out before...

So you don't get the full effect of the bees... as you spend a good while trying to work out what they are.

I haven't done a Wordle in forever and I think they make a task like this far more interesting to look at, our chosen audience is that of Reformers, they care little for brands and greatly for quality of life, their mental state is very important to them which makes our song perfect for them, as its really happy and easy going, they live more to fulfil themselves mentally more than with physical possessions. 
I created 'Lily' who I think would really appreciate our music video..

As can be seen from the slideshow above, we have a variety of locations that we want to use. Such locations include spitalfields, barbican and a bandstand.
