Another video that uses interesting effects is "Talamak" by Toro y Moi:








This GIF of a part of the video shows the use of overlaying of the same scenes at different speeds with different opacity settings. It creates a very interesting effect.

This video also uses a lot of colour correcting which can be added with editing programs such as final cut.

This video uses a lot of post-production effects including colour correcting, fades, brightness and opacity. These effects work very well with this type of song as it gives the video a "dreamy" feel to it. It must be noted that effects do not suit all songs and can look out of place if not used properly. For our video, if we decide to use any effects, we will make sure that the effects fit and aren't there just for the sake of being there.
