How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
The ducks feature twice in our video:
I made sure to use the same colour ducks in my digipak as the ones in the video, for continuity reasons.
A song title is called "rubber ducks"
There are also links with costume as the main singer is wearing the same colour clothing in both the music video and the digipak.
For my advert, I used the same yellow that I used in my digipak. I also used the same font as the tracklistings and the title of the album, this font is informal and suits our band's image. My advertisement does not have the ducks, but there is a link with the video through the use of a ukulele, which is an instrument used in the video. I believe this creates a clear musical image and link between the image of the band and the poster and digipak.

The image below shows how my ancillary products are linked together.
I think that with the all the links mentioned above between my ancillary products and our video, it will be easily identifiable by our audience, that they are linked products. The audience should be able to recognise the lead singer at the front of the digipak, from the music video and since the front cover is seen first, this link should be made immediately.
I believe that our target audience would be attracted to both the ancillary products and the main text since they relate to the song. The upbeat fun sound of the song is conveyed in the video and the advert and digipak. The video has its "quirky" moments such as the rabbits and the ducks and similarly, the digipak and poster have their bright and colourful colour, both of which relate to the song.
