Noah and the Whale has been our biggest influence towards our final planning because its where we got out song choice from. It is a similar image to what our band will be portraying. The video is not like videos, or music of this year. Most music is fast pace and has more electrical instruments than the type of music Noah and the Whale make.
Jesse J, who's laughing now in relevant to our song in relation to the number of locations she uses which the song is about. When she sings out her being bullied in school, with little girls taunting her, the video illustrates that well. Also, there is a narrative of the little girl singing as Jesse when she was younger, which we plan to do in our video also.
Snow Patrol's, chasing Cars is relevant to the planning of our video because there is a lot of lip-sync screen time, and that he acts out what the song is saying. When he is lying in bed, thinking about telling this girl what he wants to say, in our song, we'll be lying in bed, thinking about what has been done and said.
The Killers, Mr Brightside is relevant to our planning because in the video there is lots of shots of the band playing their music together, which makes them a band in the first place. This is a good example of how our video should be, because we will try project ourselves as a band who are as big and as bright as the Killers.
