The use of jump cuts is really prominent in our video and as its a really important feature to this video I thought it would be a good example to show we have taken from, The use of filming similar shots over and over again will help us to create this effect in several places throughout our video, The amount of jump cuts in this video is even more than ours but I thought it would be a great example!
I really think this music video is great, the idea is so simple for most of it and it shows just how effective and amazing extra time spent editing and planning can create something so exciting.
Er Im not sure if this is even something I can say but the FUN FACTOR is big in our video, which is why we're using bright Mise En Scene, fun locations and stuff shall be taking place in the video to captivate the audience, I really love the 'interesting factor' about this video which is something we are really looking for in ours, during our film there is a large section (15 seconds) where the camera is being handheld and our walk from one location to another is made (sped up) however this video proves that when interesting stuff is going on throughout the video will be really interesting :)!
I love this music video and its one thats really inspired me with the mise en scene, using artistic locations, and also using several art installations to add to our music video, I also like the idea of running through the forest shown here which we are mimicking however we are using a small bamboo field thing for this which should be really great and go with the jolly, childlike playfulness in our song. The costume (only a slight fancy dress element for us though) is also something the video we are creating should reflect, along with outdoors, I love the use of colour in this video and I hope we can get a fixed props list soon so we can include as much colour as possible.
